A wedding date is reserved only once we have received both a signed wedding services agreement and a non-refundable booking retainer equal to five percent of the total quoted price. Dates are held on a first-come basis. The retainer is credited toward the final balance and is not transferable to another client or event. Should services, staffing, or location change before the agreement is signed, the retainer is recalculated from the revised total.

Quotes reflect the information available at the time of preparation. Final pricing may be refined for hair length, density, texture, complexity, extensions, requested changes, additional time, added services, staffing, parking, tolls, or accommodations; any material adjustment is communicated in advance. The remaining balance is due in full at least twenty-four hours before the wedding where practicable, and no later than the morning of the wedding before services begin. Gratuity is not included and remains at your discretion, customarily fifteen to twenty-five percent.

Trials are separate appointments and are not included in wedding-day pricing unless expressly listed in the signed proposal. A valid card may be required to reserve a trial, with payment due at the appointment. We recommend scheduling six to eight weeks before the wedding. A trial does not reserve the wedding date. We make every reasonable effort to assign your trial artist to your wedding day, though a specific artist cannot be guaranteed if illness, emergency, or staffing changes require a qualified substitution.

Travel within a twenty-mile radius of our Reading, Massachusetts studio is included unless the quote states otherwise. Beyond that radius, travel is billed at $1.25 per mile round trip, calculated beyond the included twenty miles in each direction, per vehicle required to transport the assigned team. Artists traveling separately create an additional travel charge; artists riding together carry one. The client is responsible for required parking, valet, tolls, ferry, airfare, and ground transportation. Where distance, weather, or an early start makes same-day travel impractical, reasonable hotel accommodations may be required as stated in the proposal.

Saturday on-location weddings generally require a minimum of six booked services. Different minimums may apply based on date, location, schedule, or staffing and will be stated in the proposal. We determine the number of artists reasonably required to complete services within the approved timeline and may adjust assignments while maintaining the contracted scope.

Complete and accurate timing, location, parking, access, and contact information must be provided, and a final timeline prepared or approved before the wedding. Start times before 7:00 a.m. are subject to a $100 early-morning fee per artist unless otherwise quoted. The client ensures the location is open, safe, reasonably climate controlled, well lit, and equipped with sufficient chairs, tables, outlets, and workspace at the agreed start time. Delays caused by access, venue restrictions, or incomplete setup do not extend the contracted completion time.

Hair clients arrive with clean, fully dry hair unless the proposal states otherwise, and should avoid excessive heat styling beforehand; those not wearing their natural texture should arrive stretched or blown out. Drying wet or improperly prepared hair may incur a $50 fee per person and may not be possible within the timeline. Makeup clients arrive with a clean face and disclose allergies, sensitivities, recent skin procedures, contagious conditions, or relevant medical concerns before products are applied. Accessories, veils, extensions, and specialty cosmetics are the client's responsibility unless the proposal provides otherwise. We are not responsible for compromised results, reduced longevity, or delays caused by improper preparation or undisclosed conditions.

Any guest arriving fifteen minutes or more after their scheduled time may be charged a $25 late fee. To protect the timeline, we may shorten, modify, reassign, or forfeit a late or missed service. A late arrival or no-show does not reduce the contracted total or applicable service minimum.

All requested changes must be submitted in writing at least thirty days before the wedding to the contact stated in the proposal. Additions are subject to availability, timing, staffing, and updated pricing, and no change is effective until confirmed by us in writing. The five percent retainer is non-refundable once paid. Reductions or cancellations within thirty days remain subject to original service minimums and any committed staffing, travel, lodging, or other nonrecoverable costs; removing a person or service does not automatically reduce the amount due. A request for a new wedding date is treated as a cancellation and new booking unless we approve a written transfer.

On-site touch-ups, second looks, reception changes, and additional styling time are available by advance approval and billed at $125 per hour per artist unless otherwise quoted. Unplanned wedding-day requests are subject to artist availability, timeline feasibility, and immediate payment.

Each guest receiving services must disclose known allergies, sensitivities, infections, contagious conditions, and skin or scalp concerns that could affect safe service. We may decline or discontinue a service where we reasonably believe it would be unsafe, unsanitary, unlawful, or outside the artist's professional scope, and are not responsible for outcomes arising from information that was not disclosed.

Hair and makeup longevity varies with weather, humidity, perspiration, skin and hair type, touching, clothing, and other conditions outside our control. We do not guarantee an exact recreation of inspiration images. Guests remain responsible for personal items, jewelry, accessories, and valuables at the service location.

We may request permission to photograph completed work for portfolio, website, social media, educational, or promotional use. Any identifiable marketing use follows the consent selected in the booking documents or otherwise provided by the individual. Declining marketing consent never affects the services provided.

We are not liable for delay or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, government action, venue closure, transportation disruption, widespread illness, emergency, or power outage. If an assigned artist becomes unavailable, we make reasonable efforts to provide a qualified substitute. Where a contracted service cannot be provided, amounts paid specifically for that unperformed service are refunded; completed services and nonrecoverable third-party expenses are not refundable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our responsibility is limited to direct losses arising from services we fail to provide and will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service. We are not responsible for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses, event delays caused by the client, bridal party, venue, or third parties, or conditions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Email, electronic signatures, online checkboxes, and electronic payments may be used to confirm and document a booking. The client is responsible for reviewing all proposals, invoices, timelines, and communications, and for sharing relevant instructions with every person receiving services. These terms and the signed wedding services agreement are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect, and a delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. The signed agreement, accepted proposal, invoice, and these Terms & Conditions form the complete agreement for the booking and replace prior discussions concerning the same services.
